A challenging demolition of an existing public house and the construction of a three storey new build block of 9 luxury apartments on an unusual triangular plot alongside a railway embankment and underpass. The design incorporated a traditional masonry construction with mass fill concrete foundations and concrete bison floor construction. Foundations were complex due an existing basement in the original property.
Each of the 9 highly distinctive apartments were thoughtfully arranged and designed by architects with all apartments benefiting from a large open plan kitchen / living room opening out onto either a spacious private
balcony or garden.
The land was carefully sourced for its location. Situated in West Norwood, near an eclectic mix of shops, gastro pubs, historic buildings, restaurants and renowned local parks.
